If you thought UFC Macau was filled with highlights heading into the final three bouts of the card, Muslim Salikhov then went and took things to another level thanks to his first-round finish of Song Kenan.
Salikhov delivered a brutal spinning wheel kick that landed flush on the home favorite, dropping him for the knockout win. The 40-year-old Russian made history inside the Galaxy Arena by becoming the first UFC fighter with two finishes via spinning wheel kick.
Salikhov, a former Wushu world champion, has now won back-to-back bouts and eight of his last 11, continuing to impress despite being 40.
Song, meanwhile, has now lost four of his last six.
