What’s Next? Exclusive Interview With Jimmie Rivera

It seems like Jimmie Rivera just can’t catch a break. Rivera has been calling out top competition for over a year with little success. It seemed like Rivera finally got his big break when Dominick Cruz agreed to fight. He got injured. Luckily, powerhouse John Linnaker was available to step in. Until he got injured. Third time is always the charm, right?

Rivera took to social media and was ready to take on Marlon Moraes. Moraes previously called out Rivera in a post fight interview. Seemed like a no brainer that these two would be set to fight.

Unfortunately after agreeing to give up 3lbs, 5lbs, and even 10lbs the bout agreement was never signed and no Rivera is stuck on the outside looking in.

I had the chance to speak with Rivera and ask him how he was dealing with all the let downs, if he ever will give Moraes a chance in the future, and why he wouldn’t fight any of the other fighters who were wanting to step in.
