Former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva slipped.
“The Spider” told TMZ Sports that he is sorry for comments made about the UFC and how they treat fighters recently. Silva called out the promotion following similar comments made by Jose Aldo and others.
“Definitely, I need to say sorry for everything that happened now with UFC,” Silva said. “Because, you know, Dana White is Dana White.”
Silva, who is 33-8 with a no-contest in his career, stepped in on short notice this past July and fought Daniel Cormier at UFC 200. He stated that he was never personally thanked for “saving the card.”
