Brad Imes has been pulled from the upcoming UFC 65 “Bad Intentions” card for November 18th, according to UFC.com. The official website of the UFC didn't list a reason, although this close to the actual show one would have to assume it's a late injury from training.
Imes' replacement on the card will be Sherman Pendergarst. Pendergarst comes in with an 8-3 pro MMA record. He has fought three UFC veterans in his career, going 1-2 – defeating Aaron Brink this past August by submission and losing to Justin Eilers by knockout in May. Earlier in his career, Pendergarst dropped a unanimous decision to Carmelo Marrero, who just debuted with UFC and got a win over Chieck Kongo.
