Darrion Caldwell successfully avenged his lone career loss to date, and cemented his status as the top bantamweight contender Saturday night at Bellator 167. The event aired live on Spike.
Caldwell downed Joe Taimanglo via decision, just a few short months after being submitted by Taimanglo in a stunning upset.
Afterwards, Caldwell was declared the next contender to Bellator bantamweight champion Eduardo Dantas.
The main card also included wins by John Teixeira, Ilima-Lei MacFarlane and Chidi Njokuani.
