When Georgi Karakhanyan burst on to the Bellator scene in January of 2015 people thought they were looking at a future champion. Submitting the dominant Bubba Jenkins in the first round immediately had people talking.
Since then Karakahnyan has had a back and forth career. A record that is littered with the who’s who in the Bellator Featherweight division, Karakahnyan has made a point at taking the toughest fights the division has to offer. That stretch continues when he takes on Henry Corrales at Bellator 192 on January 20th at the Forum in Inglewood, CA.
Before the fight goes down I spoke with Georgi about his upcoming fight against Corrales, how he likes to research his opponent before a fight, his mini documentary he is working on, and what his plans are for 2018.
