On Friday, Bellator MMA Welterweight contender and former champion Douglas Lima won back the title that he once owned from the man who defeated him to end his first reign as Bellator’s 170-pound champion, Andrey Koreshkov.
In a rematch of their first fight, which Koreshkov won via decision back in July of 2015 at the Bellator 140 event in Uncasville, Connecticut to claim the Bellator Welterweight Title, Lima scored the victory this time, stopping the Russian fighter with strikes at the 1:21 mark of the third round of Friday’s Bellator 164 event from Tel Aviv, Israel.
