The Bellator 257 weigh-ins are complete, and the full card will move forward as scheduled.
The Bellator 257 lineup will include a solid double-header in the main and co-main events that will feature not one but two bouts in the light heavyweight grand prix. First, in the co-main event, both Corey Anderson and Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov will look to remain unbeaten in Bellator when they both look to extend their promotional record to 2-0 while advancing in the grand prix.
In the main event, champion Vadim Nemkov will be defending his title against Phil Davis in a grand prix quarterfinal bout. Nemkov defeated Ryan Bader for the title last August via TKO and is currently on a seven-fight winning streak. The winner will leave with the light heavyweight strap while advancing deeper into the bracket.
All four of the above fighters made weight without issue. Jay Jay Wilson missed weight by .75 pounds for his preliminary bout against Pedro Carvalho and will be fined 20% of his fight purse as a result.
Bellator 257 takes place tomorrow night on Showtime from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. You can find the full card and weigh-in results below!
