It looks like “The Axe Murderer” wants a slugfest against the famous street brawler.
Wanderlei Silva, who recently signed with the Bellator MMA promotion, revealed during his appearance on Monday’s edition of “The MMA Hour” at MMAFighting.com that he would like to fight Kimbo Slice.
And according to Silva, he has no desire to fight with Kimbo on the ground.
“One guy I would love to fight is Kimbo, and I don’t go to the ground,” Silva told Ariel Helwani during Monday’s interview.
“No, I want to fight in his area because the truth is, I want to make a good show, I want to give emotions to my fans. And when I can, I am going to do what I can do.”
Wanderlei Silva teams with Kiyoshi Tamura against Kazushi Sakuraba and Hideo Tokoro in a tag-team grappling match at the upcoming Rizin FF event in Japan.
