Conor McGregor’s decision to throw a water bottle back at the Diaz camp in August will cost him.
The Nevada Athletic Commission came down heavy on the UFC featherweight champion Monday during a hearing, finding him $150,000 for his role in the incident. He will also have to serve 50 hours of community service.
McGregor was fined five-percent of his $3 million fight purse.
Diaz is expected to receive a similar – if not more – fine once he goes before the NAC.
