Dana White Says Dan Henderson Said No To Second Shogun Fight

It seems as though Dan Henderson is content to sit and wait out a possible title shot according to UFC President Dana White. White was in Canada this week to announce three upcoming cards in the country and told Mauro Ranallo that he was trying to put together a second fight between Henderson and Maurcio “Shogun” Rua, but Hendo wasn't interested:

“Yeah, I was trying to put together Dan Henderson vs. Shogun II and Henderson doesn't want to do the fight. Henderson wants to wait for the winner of either Jonny “Bones” Jones or Anderson Silva. He wants Anderson Silva, if Silva wins, he will make that cut. Otherwise, he wants to fight the winner of Rashad and Jones.”

When Henderson was asked about the fight via Twitter his response was simple “If Dana said it then it must be true. Lol..”

That could mean the match is possible while the title picture at 185lbs and 205lbs plays out. Would you be interested in Henderson vs. Shogun 2?
