Dennis Bermudez knows the key to beating Chan Sung Jung this Saturday night at UFC Fight Night 104.
And it is pretty simple.
“Air miles,” Bermudez said, during a recent interview on UFC Tonight. “I throw him on his head.”
Bermudez (16-5) has scored back-to-back wins to improve to 9-2 over his last 11. Included in his run are wins over current interim UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway, Clay Guida and Tatsuya Kawajiri.
In “The Korean Zombie,” Bermudez will be facing a former title contender coming back from a three-year layoff due to enlistment in the Korean military.
“I prepared for him as if he’s never left, for the best we’ve ever seen him,” Bermudez said. “I think (a win) puts me into the Top-5. I have a win over Max, so I’m trying to get that belt.”
