Developing A Top Prospect: Exclusive Interview with Chance ‘The Milkman’ Cretsinger

Patience is not something often found in a young Mixed Martial Arts Fighter. Hell, it’s hard to find anywhere in the sport. Most Amateurs fight between 5 and 8 times within a two year sport and then make the jump to Professional. Dreaming of big pay checks and the UFC light. Unfortunately for most, that will never happen. They rushed themselves and their development in the sport. Turning Pro too soon and cutting short a potentially successful MMA career. Young fighters such as Chance ‘The Milkman’ Cretsinger are the opposite. Strategically planning their MMA career. Ready to show the world.

Too often do we see young fighters taking every fight possible. Working to build up a record and a name for themselves, no matter the risk. Chance is making sure that even though he may be ready, he is going to make the right decisions. ” I’m gunna be smart with my career. I’m not gunna rush in and take every single fight ya can. It’s gunna put damage on your body and not really help you develop. I feel like. I want to have a good training camp for these pro fights and be able to focus. Every fight I can go in there completely focused on what I need to do…”

Chance is tentatively scheduled to make his Pro debut this December so be sure to look for that. Listen to the whole interview to hear more about his evolution into a pro fighter, how he embarrasses former bullies every day, and how he is handling being around top level athletes on a daily basis.
