When Donald Cerrone hears that somebody is looking to fight, he wants in.
After it was mentioned during this past Saturday’s UFC on FOX 21 card that former welterweight champion Robbie Lawler is actively seeking a fight, “Cowboy” tossed his proverbial hat in the ring to be an opponent.
Cerrone is coming off a third consecutive win at welterweight, finishing Rick Story. Lawler, meanwhile, dropped the belt to Tyron Woodley his last time out.
Following his win over Story, Cerrone also put an offer out to fight Erick Silva in Brazil next month. He recently signed a new eight-fight contract with the promotion.
