Donald Cerrone is back to his old ways, as “Cowboy” will return to action in August against Rick Story at UFC 202. MMAjunkie first reported the bout.
Cerrone (30-7) is coming off a third straight win at welterweight, besting Patrick Cote earlier this month. He is 17-4 over his UFC run and 11-1 in his last 12, losing only to current lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos.
Story (19-8) sports a three-fight win streak of his own, picking up a recent decision over Tarec Saffiedine after sitting out all of 2015 due to neck injuries.
UFC 202 takes place August 20 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and features Nate Diaz vs. Conor McGregor in the main event.
