Pride 33 Weigh-in Results & Notes
The weighins concluded for Pride’s `Second Coming’ show in the U.S. and everyone seemed ready to go. The open weighins drew a decent sized crowd of fans and media. The fans were rowdy and ready to scream for their favorites and throw out some jeers for their not so favorite fighters. The weighin results were as follows.

Live Notes
-Frank Trigg was fired up as he had to be physically restrained during the face off with Misaki.
-Silva promised all his fans that this rematch with Henderson would not go the distance as their first meeting nearly six years ago.
-Lightweight champion, Gomi, stated that he was very excited about his chance to perform in front of the U.S. crowd for the first time. He said after the fight he would go out and enjoy Las Vegas.
-It was noted that Welterweight champion, Dan Henderson, was the man who discovered Sokoudjou and brought him to Pride.
-Ovation of the night from the fans was a close one between Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and his Chute Box teammate, Wanderlei Silva. They were both extremely popular with the U.S. crowd in attendance. Dan Henderson also received a very loud ovation.
-Nick Diaz, win or lose, will be fighting for Pride again after this fight.
-I caught up quickly with Mark “The Hammer” Coleman and he told me he would be fighting in Pride again, most likely, in April with an opponent yet to be named.
