NEW YORK PITBULLS, PORTLAND WOLFPACK TAKE SPOTLIGHT ON
“IFL BATTLEGROUND” MONDAY ON MyNetworkTV

Battle Of Unbeaten Squads Frames This Week’s Episode

NEW YORK, May 2, 2007- The International Fight League (OTC.BB: IFLI),
the world’s first team-based professional mixed martial arts league,
will bring viewers behind the scenes and into the ring as two of the
league’s unbeaten squads, the New York Pitbulls and Portland Wolfpack,
battle at Mohegan Sun Arena in the next episode of “IFL
Battleground” on Monday, May 7, at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. CT/MT). “IFL
Battleground” airs every Monday night on MyNetworkTV.

Some of the highlights seen during this week’s episode include:

* The Wolfpack’s slugging welterweight Mike Dolce from the Jersey
shore, transplanted to the Pacific Northwest, takes on the team coached
by his mentor, Renzo Gracie. Dozens of Dolce’s supporters, including
his No. 1 fan, his sister, Mary Lou, are on hand to cheer him on.
* The first-ever IFL rematch features former All-America football
player Jamal Patterson (Hoboken, N.J.) of the Pitbulls and bible-toting,
hard-hitting Matt Horwich (Portland, Ore.).
* Exciting newcomer Gerald Harris (Tulsa, Okla.) makes his IFL debut
against Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu expert Fabio Leopoldo (Rio de Janeiro,
Brazil).
* The battle heats up between gentle giants Devin Cole (Medford,
Ore.), the IFL veteran looking for his first win of 2007, and Bryan Vetell
(Jamaica, N.Y), who hit the books as a Philosophy major at Hofstra
before hitting opponents in the IFL ring.
* Veteran Thai boxer Joey Sampieri (New York) makes his first IFL
appearance as he faces Ryan Schultz (North Platte, Neb.) in the Wolfpack
lightweight’s first bout since he was knocked out in the 2006 IFL
World Team Championship on the same Mohegan Sun Arena canvas.
* “IFL Battleground” takes a look around the league as some of
the top teams prepare for their final regular season events and look
ahead to the IFL playoffs.
* Olympic Gold Medalist Kevin Jackson serves as substitute coach for
the Wolfpack team while Matt Lindland competes overseas, a prelude to
the league’s landmark partnership with USA Wrestling.
