The finish floodgates appear to have been burst wide open with Jean Silva delivering UFC 303’s second impressive knockout.
Silva’s devastating striking was on display throughout his second Octagon appearance against Charles Jourdain.
After hurting his opponent in the first round, the Brazilian continued to look for the final shot that would close the show.
That shot eventually came in the second when he landed a perfectly timed uppercut on the break, dropping Jourdain with referee Marc Goddard stepping in before any follow-on shots were required.
Silva continues a big year for The Fighting Nerds team out of Brazil, with a one-hitter-quitter to make it back-to-back knockout wins for him in the UFC.
