On Friday, October 3, 2014, WWE Hall Of Famer announcer Jim Ross and former UFC title contender and FOX analyst Chael Sonnen made their broadcasting debut for the BattleGrounds MMA O.N.E. pay-per-view.
Since then, fans have been asking when we may see the broadcasting duo team up to call another MMA event.
Today, BattleGrounds MMA executives may have given us the answer.
On Twitter, a fan asked the WWE legend when we will hear him calling the action for a live MMA event again. Ross replied to the fan, telling them, “BattleGrounds MMA hasn’t said.”
Well, now they have.
The official Twitter account for the Oklahoma-based MMA promotion tweeted the following, revealing plans for their next event, which is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2015, with Ross and Sonnen scheduled to be “a big piece of that plan.”
