Former WWE announcer Jim Ross recently addressed his upcoming MMA announcing debut, which will take place on October 3rd for BattleGrounds MMA, an event that will air live on pay-per-view and will feature Chael Sonnen as JR’s broadcast partner.

“Very excited to be working with Chael Sonnen for the Battlegrounds MMA PPV on Friday October 3 that will emanate from Tulsa and will feature the return of the one night, single elimination, 8 man tournament with 50K going to the winner. This will be my MMA broadcasting debut of which I’m extremely motivated about doing. I hope that you will check out the broadcast/PPV and I guarantee you that it won’t be boring.”
