Jim Ross has posted another tease regarding a potential MMA announcing return with his latest broadcast partner, Chael Sonnen.
When asked by a fan on Twitter recently if he’d consider doing more MMA commentary, Ross replied, “Oh, hell yes…w/ Chael Sonnen..stay tuned.”
This comment comes after a recent tease from the WWE Hall Of Famer, which was quickly followed up by a statement from the BattleGrounds MMA promotion.
The Oklahoma-based MMA promotion, which JR and Sonnen provided commentary for back in early October, tweeted the following message to Ross a few weeks ago:
@JRsBBQ @bazee420 working on 1Q 2015 for the next tournament and JR & Chael are a big piece of that plan.

Speaking of Ross, he will be the guest on Chael Sonnen’s “You’re Welcome” podcast later this week:
