Junior dos Santos will defend the UFC Heavyweight title against Cain Velasquez in his next title defense though when and where is now up in the air after UFC President Dana White commented on the fight this past weekend on FUEL TV:
“Yes, that fight will happen. I don't know when and I don't know where. That is going to depend on Junior. The fight will happen, but probably not in Toronto [at UFC 152].”
It's not sure at this time what pushed the fight back as it had been rumored for the September 22nd event in Toronto.
More info on the bout will likely be released in the coming weeks.
