The fight card for the K-1 World Grand Prix 2007 Hawaii event on April 28th at the Blaisdell Center was announced today, with local Hawaiian fighting sensation Scott Junk, confirmed to compete against the K-1 World GP 2005 Hawaii Champion Gary Goodridge, as well as two other high-profile USA fighters, Mighty Mo and Patrick Barry competing.
Last held in 2005 at Aloha Stadium, this year’s top-notch event will also include the first-ever K-1 Heavyweight title bout between Moroccan bad boy Badr Hari (6’6″ 203 lbs) and K-1 Asia GP 2006 Champion Yusuke Fujimoto (5’10” 225lbs).
All K-1 fighters in this event will be competing for same goal, the title of K-1 USA GP Tournament Winner, then the opportunity to advance towards the prestigious K-1 World Grand Prix Final and the ultimate title of “King of Kings” in December 2007.
