Kimbo Slice Wants Rematch With Seth Petruzelli, Calls Out Tito Ortiz

Following the announcement made by Bellator MMA last week that Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson has signed with the promotion, the street fighting legend is already talking about some possible matches that he would like to secure during his latest run as a MMA fighter.

Slice, who gained fame through a series of street fighting videos that garnered a lot of attention on the internet, sports a 4-2 professional MMA record, with one of those loses coming to Seth Petruzelli.

Petruzelli, a fellow former Ultimate Fighter competitor, took the fight against Kimbo on very short notice, replacing MMA legend Ken Shamrock the day of a scheduled fight at the EliteXC “Heat” event back in October of 2008. Petruzelli would go on to knock out Kimbo with a jab in just 14 seconds.

Petruzelli’s three most recent MMA fights have been fought under the Bellator banner, making a rematch against Kimbo a very real possibility, and one that Kimbo himself claims he would like to see happen.

“I’m sure they would. I mean, they should. I mean, I would love to,” Slice said of the idea during a recent appearance on The MMA Hour. “I owe that dude one. The nature of it, I could complain all day long on this and that, but sh*t, it just went down the way it went down, but goddamn I owe him one.”

Slice also spoke about the possibility of fighting the most high-profile star in the Bellator organization — Tito Ortiz.

“Sh*t, you know they could put Tito [Ortiz] on that plane, too,” he said. “For sure. I got a bone to pick with that dude, man.”

Slice continued, “Ain’t no problem with him yet, but you know, from back in the Strikeforce days, I was hearing sh*t about him calling me out and talking sh*t about me, so yeah, we could definitely put that in the making. He’s gotta have a problem with my hand game.”
