The third Strikeforce show will be live on Friday, December 8th at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California. The show is being dubbed “Triple Threat” and promise to deliver three title fights inside a ten-fight card.
The main event was originally scheduled to be Frank Shamrock vs. Phil Baroni – but that is out the window, at least on this show.
Now, we know that Paul Buentello, Cung Le, Gilbert Melendez, Josh Thomson, Daniel Puder, and Bobby Southworth will be on the show. If the show has three title fights, then you can bet Melendez will be defending the title.
