Don’t expect to see T.J. Dillashaw return to UFC Unfiltered anytime soon.
Dillashaw is set to return to action for the first time since January 2019. He was vying for “Champ-Champ” status against Henry Cejudo, who was the UFC flyweight champion at the time. Dillashaw held the bantamweight gold.
In the end, Dillashaw was stopped in 32 seconds via TKO. He then relinquished his UFC bantamweight title due to failing drug tests for EPO. He was suspended by USADA for two years.
Dillashaw has served the full sanction and will return to the Octagon this Saturday night (July 24) in the main event of UFC Vegas 32. He’ll go one-on-one with Cory Sandhagen.
During an episode of UFC Unfiltered, hosts Matt Serra and Jim Norton discussed the possibility of Dillashaw being a guest on their show.
Serra made it clear that he has no interest in speaking to the former UFC Bantamweight Champion.
“They asked me if I wanted to talk to T.J. You probably wouldn’t care. I care, I don’t wanna talk to him.”
Norton responded with the following.
“I will defer to you but I don’t mind talking to him.”
Serra reminded Norton of what Dillashaw has done.
“The guy cheated, man.”
Norton pointed out that Serra can air his grievances with Dillashaw on air.
“Well, you can tell him that.”
Serra said he prefers to avoid that situation and went on to rant about Dillashaw’s past EPO use.
“You want that? Do I really want [that]? I’d rather not even. You know why? He’s coming on the show as a guest. I’d rather say, ‘alright,’ I’d rather not even talk to the guy.
“Listen, I was in there. He was taking that EPO sh*t or whatever it is, you don’t get tired. You don’t get f*cking tired, why not throw a million punches? You’ll be fine. Dude, I was never afraid of getting hurt in there because I know how to defend myself. But I’ll tell you what I was definitely afraid of, getting f*cking tired.”
