Michael Bisping has been on the cusp of competing for UFC gold several times.
Now, thanks to his recent win over Anderson Silva and a neck injury by Chris Weidman, “The Count” finally gets his spotlight.
Bisping was announced as the replacement for Weidman, taking on middleweight champion Luke Rockhold at UFC 199.
In a post on Instagram shortly after the fight announcement, Bisping proclaimed this to be his “destiny” and what he has been “working towards my entire life.”
