The following is from Dave Meltzer's website, WrestlingObserver.com:
“Todd Martin was at the press conference at the Los Angeles Coliseum this morning for the 6/2 show. They didn't say anything that wasn't already known, with Brock Lesnar vs. Choi Hong-man the only announced match. There were no hints as to an opponent for Royce Gracie. Sadaharu Tanigawa predicted 100,000 fans at the show. Well, so did Vince when he booked that stadium. There was nobody there representing Bodog, but they did talk of an “organizational alliance” involving FEG (parent company of K-1 & Hero's), Showtime, EXC, Strikeforce, Cage Rage (which has not been sold by K-1), Bodog and the Korean-based Spirit Fighting Championships. It was announced that Showtime would air three fights live from the show before the PPV starts, and they would involve Gina Carano, Jake Shields and Antonio Junior Silva. The biggest news was that from 4/30 (or 4/23) until the week before the show, Showtime would have a 30 minute television show at 8:30 p.m. This would not be a barker channel show like before the first EXC show, but different 30 minute shows airing every Monday.”
