Nate Diaz Fires Back At Conor McGregor

With Diaz vs. McGregor 2 set for the main event at UFC 200 this summer, the trash talk between the two fighters has already started.

Diaz wanted to reiterate to McGregor that losing to the Stockton native again would not be detrimental to his career. Diaz has consistently stated that he has been fighting for a long time and fought tougher competition than Mystic Mac.

“I’m sure he’ll be all right when I beat him,” Diaz said to Fox Sports. I’m top of the food chain. I’ve been fighting top 10 competition for eight years. Losing to me is not so bad.”

Diaz finished McGregor impressively via submission in the 2nd round of their first bout. While McGregor may have won the 1st round of the fight, Diaz retaliated in the 2nd round using his range and classic 1-2 combos to stun McGregor.

UFC 200 already has two other title bouts on the card with an interim featherweight title bout between Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar, and Miesha Tate vs. Amanda Nunes for the bantamweight championship. Stay tuned for more updates on UFC 200 and the ongoing feud between Diaz and McGregor.
