UFC officials confirmed the new UFC 206 fight card Saturday night, declaring Conor McGregor has been stripped of the featherweight title.
That means Jose Aldo is the new champion, and a bout between Max Holloway and Anthony Pettis at UFC 206 next month will determine the interim titleholder.
The card recently lost Daniel Cormier-Anthony Johnson for the light heavyweight title due to an injury suffered by Cormier.
Also, Tim Kennedy will meet Kelvin Gastelum – pending approval of the Ontario Commission – in a middleweight contest.
