According to the official website of PRIDE, you can officially pencil in the rumored bout we reported here at MMANews.com last week, between Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Alistair Overeem.
The two will meet in a rematch from the PRIDE Middleweight Grand Prix, which Shogun won after dispatching of Overeem in the semifinals, at PRIDE 33 “The Second Coming” on February 24 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
With that bout now confirmed, here is what the OFFICIAL PRIDE 33 “The Second Coming” line-up looks thus far:
-Vanderlei Silva (c) vs. Dan Henderson (PRIDE MW Title)
-Mauricio “Shogun” Rua vs. Alistair Overeem
-Takanori Gomi vs. Nick Diaz
-Frank Trigg vs. Kazuo Misaki
-Kazuhiro Nakamura vs. Travis Wiuff
-Hayato Sakurai vs. Mac Danzig
