Could the next time we see Rory MacDonald compete come inside the Bellator MMA cage?
According to a report by Chamatkar Sandhu, Bellator president Scott Coker and crew have already started a “line of communication” with MacDonald after the former UFC title contender became a free agent.
MacDonald, just 26 years old, has dropped back-to-back fights for the first time in his career. Last July, he was finished by Robbie Lawler in the fifth round of their welterweight title fight, while he was on the losing end of a decision defeat to Stephen Thompson this past June.
Prior to that, the Canadian won three straight, defeating Tarec Saffiedine, Tyron Woodley and Demian Maia.
