Rumor On Quinton Jackson's Opponent At Next WFA Show

According to the Sherdog.com website, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson is tenatively scheduled to fight Marvin Eastman at the next World Fighting Alliance (WFA) show on December 9th.

The two first met back in June of 2000, where “Rampage” received his first pro MMA loss at the hands of Eastman, dropping a two round decision at the King of the Cage 4 “Gladiators” show.

This would remain Jackson's only loss in MMA until he debuted for the big leagues in Japan, losing a spirited fight against legendary Kazushi Sakuraba.

Eastman was originally scheduled for the PRIDE U.S. debut show against Kazuhiro Nakamura in a 205 lb. bout. According to Eastman's MySpace blog, the WFA threatened him with litigation if he were to remain scheduled for the PRIDE show. You know, the same WFA that came out claiming to be the most fighter-friendly organization, but now follows the same business-first mindset that their top level competitors have always shared.

More on this as we receive it.
