Q. What have you been up to lately?
A. Took some time off after his last fight [with Overeem], but now he is training hard for a fight in June.
Q. Do you know who you are fighting in June?
A. I don't know.
Q. What do you attribute your success to?
A. Training hard, having a great team and great coaches, and he wants to be the best.
Q. Who do you want to fight for, PRIDE or UFC?
A. He signed a contract with PRIDE, but he can fight in either PRIDE or UFC. But he doesn't know where he will be fighting next.
Q. Who do you want to fight next?
A. Dan Henderson.
Q. There was a rumour of a sparring match between Shogun and Wanderlei Silva, and the winner was supposedly to win the opponent's dog. Any truth to that?
A. No, he gave Wanderlei a dog but it didn't have anything to do with training or sparring.
