Tito Ortiz was cited for misdemeanor battery in Las Vegas, NV on Friday morning. TMZ Sports reports that Ortiz allegedly got physical with a woman inside of Drai’s Nightclub over cell phone photos.
The women involved in the incident called police around 1AM local time. She claimed Ortiz tried to rip her phone away from her after she was taking pictures of the nightclub. She is under the impression that he thought she was taking photos of him. She denied that she did.
The woman accused Ortiz of trying to “whip her around” and said she was “scared for [her] life.”
Ortiz was not arrested, and the women is currently considering her legal options.
