Former Invicta FC bantamweight ruler Tonya Evinger has her next fight set.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently announced that Evinger will take on Marion Reneau on the UFC Fight Night 126 card on Feb. 18, 2018. The event takes place inside the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas.
Back in July, Evinger made her UFC debut against Cris Cyborg. The bout was contested for the women’s featherweight title. Evinger was finished in the third round via TKO.
As for Reneau, she’s coming off a TKO victory over Talita Bernardo back in September. After dropping two straight bout against Holly Holm and Ashlee Evans-Smith, “The Belizean Bruiser” has gone 2-0-1.
UFC Fight Night 126 will feature a welterweight showdown between Donald Cerrone and Yancy Medeiros. Heavyweights Derrick Lewis and Marcin Tybura are also set to slug it out on the card. If that wasn’t enough, top ten flyweights Ray Borg and Brandon Moreno will clash.
