Combined, Sean Strickland and Tom Breese have won 27 of their 28 career fights, including seven of eight inside the Octagon.
The two welterweights will now meet at UFC 199 this June, joining a card that already includes Chris Weidman vs. UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold and Urijah Faber vs. UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz.
Strickland (17-1) sports a 4-1 UFC record and will be competing in his hometown of Los Angeles inside The Forum. He lost his debut to Santiago Ponzinibbio, but has rebounded with victories over Igor Araujo and Alex Garcia.
Breese (10-0) is 3-0, having just scored a victory over Keita Nakamura following wins over Cathal Pendred and Luiz Dutra, Jr.
