Veteran Clay Guida will take on top prospect Brian Ortega at UFC 199 this coming June.
The featherweight bout was announced recently for the June 4 card from The Forum in Los Angeles, California. The event features middleweight champion Luke Rockhold defending his title against Chris Weidman and bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz doing the same vs. Urijah Faber.
Guida (32-16) has fought 22 times inside the Octagon, winning a dozen fights. However, he was stopped by Thiago Tavares in his most recent bout, losing in just 39 seconds in Brazil.
Ortega (10-0) is coming off wins over Diego Brandao, Tavares and Mike de la Torre, though the de la Torre bout was changed to a no-contest due to a failed drug test.
