Octagon veteran Diego Sanchez announced on Tuesday that he’ll be returning to the lightweight division. Sanchez most recently lost to Ricardo Lamas in a featherweight bout at UFC Fight Night 78.
“My next fight will be at 155,” he wrote on Twitter. “It was a bit [too] much weight to cut without the IVs.”
Sanchez is 2-4 in his last five bouts. There’s no word on when or who he’ll fight next as a lightweight.
