Following his second knockout victory over MMA legend Dan Henderson at UFC Fight Night 77 this past Saturday night, “The Phenom” Vitor Belfort has a definite take on who he’d like to see across from him inside the Octagon in his next fight.
At the UFN 77 post-fight press conference, Belfort spoke about wanting to fight Luke Rockhold again, despite the fact that he already knocked him out in the first round of their last fight.
“There’s a guy, Luke Rockhold, that keeps talking a lot,” said Belfort this past Saturday evening in Brazil. “He’s talking a lot, he’s a talker. Disrespectful guy. Really good, talented, but… I’ve got my eye on him.”
For his part, Rockhold, who will challenge Chris Weidman for the UFC Middleweight Championship in his next fight, is also looking forward to a potential rematch against “The Phenom.” Rockhold posted the following on Twitter in response to Belfort’s comments.
As I do him RT @UFCONFOX: Belfort: I've got my eye on Luke @LukeRockhold. He's disrespectful. #UFCSP
