It looks like “Suga” may get what he wished for.
After making it clear recently that he wants to fight Alexander Gustafsson in his next Octagon appearance, current reports claim an Evans-Gustafsson match is currently in the works.
Originally scheduled to fight the up-and-coming Light Heavyweight contender Anthony Johnson, “The Mauler” was thrown a curve ball when Johnson was suspended by the UFC due to domestic abuse allegations.
While nothing is official at this point, the rumors making the rounds is that the proposed Rashad Evans vs. Alexander Gustafsson fight will take place on January 24, 2015, in “The Mauler’s” home turf of Stockholm, Sweden, likely for an event broadcasted on FOX.
