Heavyweights Alistair Overeem and Andrei Arlovski will square off this May at UFC Fight Night 87.
The event takes place from Rotterdam, Netherlands and the Ahoy Rotterdam. The main card is expected to air on FOX Sports 1.
Overeem (40-14-1) improved to 5-3 inside the Octagon when he defeated former UFC champion Junior dos Santos. That fight, though, fulfilled his contract and the former Strikeforce champion became a free agent.
Instead of opting to compete elsewhere, Overeem signed with the UFC.
Arlovski (25-11) recently had his six-fight win streak come to a halt at the hands of Stipe Miocic. Over multiple stints with the promotion, he is 14-5.
The event also picked up heavyweights Antonio Silva-Stefan Struve, Rashid Magomedov-Chris Wade, Yan Cabral-Reza Madadi, Magnus Cedenblad-Garreth McLellan and Francimar Barroso-Nikita Krylov.
