In what is starting to look like an early contender for “Twitter Beef” of the year, Alistair Overeem took to the social media platform this week, asking Junior Dos Santos why is he “afraid” to fight him.
Overeem wrote, “Still waiting on the [Junior Dos Santos] confirmation! Come on [JDS], time to get rolling! I can’t believe you are afraid. So what are you waiting for?”
Dos Santos, stunned by Overeem’s Twitter attack, replied by going straight to the UFC brass.
“Afraid???” wrote Dos Santos. “Are you kidding me? Lorenzo Fertitta, Dana White, Joe Silva, USADA, make it happen. #NoMoreTalking”
