UFC has announced an intruiging heavyweight bout for their upcoming UFC 185 pay-per-view event in Dallas, Texas.
Coming off an impressive first-round finish of Stefan Struve in December, heavyweight contender Alistair Overeem will make his Octagon return at the March 14th event.
Standing across from Overeem that evening will be former Ultimate Fighter champion “Big Country” Roy Nelson, who is coming off a loss to Mark Hunt in his last outing in September.
Overeem vs. Hunt will serve as one of the co-main events of the UFC 185 pay-per-view, which features a UFC Lightweight Championship main event between Anthony Pettis and Rafael dos Anjos.
UFC 185: Pettis vs. dos Anjos takes place on Saturday, March 14th at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. Tickets for the event go on sale on Friday, January 23rd.
