In addition to every MMA fighter on the planet wanting the first shot at CM Punk in the UFC, baseball legends are now getting into the mix as well.
MLB great Jose Canseco took to Twitter on Friday to announce his desire to be Punk’s first opponent inside the world-famous Octagon.
“I can beat the crap out of CM Punk,” wrote Canseco. “I am ready UFC.”
Canseco has fought MMA once before, losing to Hong Man Choi in an infamous “freak show fight” back in 2009 at the DREAM 9 event in Japan.
I can beat the crap out of @cmpunk. I am ready @ufc
