It looks like Bellator has won this round.
It was announced on Monday that Bellator MMA won its’ preliminary injunction against Quinton “Rampage” Jackson in the Burlington County Superior Court of New Jersey, effectively preventing Rampage from fighting at UFC 186 later this month as scheduled.
“We are pleased by the judge’s ruling and look forward to having Rampage fighting for Bellator again soon,” Bellator said after the decision was reached.
There is no word as to whether or not Fabio Maldonado, who was scheduled to welcome Rampage back to the Octagon at UFC 186, will have a new opponent or not.
UFC 186 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
