In what is becoming a ridiculously busy day for UFC news, the promotion announced some big fights for the UFC Fight Night card in Boston, Massachusetts. on January 18th.
In what will serve as the co-main event under the Conor McGregor vs. Dennis Siver headline attraction, Eddie Alvarez will make his second Octagon appearance, as he fights top-ranked Lightweight contender Benson Henderson.
Originally scheduled to be the co-main event of the show was Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone vs. Myles Jury, however the news broke late today that the Cerrone-Jury bout has been moved to the co-main event slot for UFC 182. That story broke after it was announced that the planned UFC 182 co-main event between Ronda Rousey and Cat Zingano was moved over to the UFC 184, under the Chris Weidman vs. Vitor Belfort UFC Middleweight Championship main event, another fight that was made official today.
Also announced for the fight card is Jorge Masvidal vs. Norman Parke and Urijah Hall vs. Costa Philippou.
UFC Fight Night: McGregor vs. Siver takes place on January 18, 2015 at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.
