Breakdown Of Anderson Silva and Michael Bisping

So UFC Fight Night London will go down tomorrow with the return of Anderson Silva (33-6), who is facing Michael Bisping (27-7). Here is a breakdown of the two fighters participating in the main event.

Anderson Silva: Silva has had a legendary career inside the Octagon compiling 16 wins in the UFC. That is good for 4th best in UFC history. His 16-fight win streak is also the best in UFC history. Silva started his career at UFC Fight Night 5 when he TKO’d Chris Leben in the first round. He went on to defeat Rich Franklin for the UFC Middleweight title. He defended the title 10 times before losing it to Chris Weidman. He would later try to reclaim the title from Weidman but lost due to a broken leg in the 2nd round. The Brazilian would be sidelined for a year before he faced Nick Diaz at UFC 183. The 40 year-old originally won the fight by unanimous decision but was subsequently suspended for PEDs. He is now fresh off of the suspension handed down by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. “The Spider” is ranked 5th in the UFC Middleweight rankings. Silva is also 3-0 in the UFC Light Heavyweight Division.

Michael Bisping: Michael Bisping is also another veteran of the UFC. Bisping originally won the Ultimate Fighter Season 3 and started his career at 14-0. He is 17-7 inside the Octagon. His 17 wins is best for third in UFC history. “The Count” is currently riding a two-fight win streak. The British born fighter has never fought for a title but has fought in two UFC Middleweight title eliminators. His last win was a split decision victory over Thales Leites in July. Bisping has notable wins over Brian Stann, Alan Belcher, and Yoshihiro Akiyama. Bisping’s last fight in London was almost six years ago when he beat Akiyama at UFC 120. He is currently ranked 7th in the UFC Middleweight rankings.
