Brian Ortega Slams Korean Zombie For Not Signing The Contract: ‘Quit Stalling’

Brian Ortega is getting frustrated with Korean Zombie for not signing the fight contract.

Ortega and Zombie were expected to fight at UFC Busan last December but “T-City” was forced to pull out due to a knee injury. Since then, the two have trashed one another in interviews and on social media. Then, at UFC 248, Ortega slapped Jay Park, a friend of Chan Sung Jung’s which did not go over well.

Since the incident, the two have been rumored to fight one another, yet Brian Ortega says Korean Zombie isn’t signing the contract.

“Someone tell Korean zombie sign the contract. You been asked multiple times already. Give the fans what they want to see and quit stalling,” Brian Ortega wrote.

Brian Ortega has not fought since December of 2018. There, he suffered a TKO loss at UFC 231 to Max Holloway for the featherweight title. It was the first time the California-native tasted defeat in his MMA career. He is currently 14-1 and one no-contest as a pro. He has notable wins over Renato Moicano, Frankie Edgar, Clay Guida, and Cub Swanson among others.

Korean Zombie, meanwhile, is riding a two-fight winning streak where he scored first-round knockout wins over Moicano and Edgar. Before that, he suffered a last-second knockout loss to Yair Rodriguez in his return to the Octagon after serving his mandatory military service.

It seems likely Ortega and Zombie will end up fighting, but when that will be is unknown at this point.
