Here’s a new one.

C.B. Dollaway vs. Francimar Barroso has been pulled from tonight’s UFC 203 pay-per-view due to Dollaway suffering an injury while riding a faulty elevator in Cleveland, Ohio.

It has been confirmed that Dollaway was injured when an elevator malfunctioned while he was on it. The severity of Dollaway’s injury, however, is unknown.

UFC released the following statement on Dollaway being forced off the show tonight:

UFC announced that CB Dollaway has had to withdraw from his scheduled bout at UFC 203 due to an injury he suffered last night as a result of an elevator accident at a hotel in Cleveland.

UFC officials have been in communication with hotel management, and the hotel is currently evaluating and investigating the issues surrounding the incident.

Other UFC fighters, including Urijah Faber, Fabricio Werdum, Yancy Medeiros, Brad Tavares, all of whom are scheduled for UFC 203 tonight, were also stuck on a faulty elevator on Friday, however none were injured.
